Man Installs Speed Breakers on Road in Memory of his Late Father in Auchi

Chief Mike Abdul, Ogudugu of Auchi Sacred Kingdom has installed speedbreakers along Auchi Polytechnic Road, Iyekhei, Auchi on Tuesday.

Members of Auchi Blog's Club observed the creation of the bumps in the early hours of the day and on enquiry discovered that the project was being done under the supervision of Engr. Austin, Director of Works, Etsako West Local Government Council.

Reason behind the creation of the speed control bumps is to caution drivers and riders who often speed carelessly while using the area. It is hoped that this development will favorably reduce the spate of crashes that happen on this part.

Worthy of note is that this project is being done  in the loving memory of late Alhaji Abdulmalik Igwemi (who himself was a victim of road accident on the said road before his transition from worldly life).
