Miss Afenmai Beauty Pageant and Awards have awarded the Deputy Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area a Noble Plaque as an ICON of PEACE on Saturday.

The event which was held at the Popular Lecky Convention Centre, Auchi, in Etsako West Local Government Area featured an exposition of the Girl-child in the ramifications of Beauty, Knowledge, Skill and Attitude. It had in attendance the high and mighty in the spheres of Politics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Academics to mention but a few.

Herein, the convener, Ma'am Amidat Ilega, CEO TOWA Enterprises recognized and presented an Award describing Hon. Ainakhuagbo Abduljelil as an Icon of Peace in the society. This was presented in recognition of Jelil's contribution to community development, philanthropy and to encourage the awardee to put more effort into  bettering the lot of mankind far and near.

Speaking to AUCHI BLOGspot about the experience, the Deputy EWLG Boss expressed elation, appreciation and gave the assurance that he will keep the fire burning towards torching grey areas and touching lives positively to the best of his ability. He further thanked and encouraged the convener and team of Afenmai Beauty Pageant and Awards to keep putting in effort to ensure that the Girl-Child is trained and empowered while giving the organizers the assurances of his support when called upon.

Other Awardees at the colourful ceremony are Mr. Sadoh of Afenmai Helpline Initiative, Sir Abeni Azeez and a host others who have carved a niche for themselves in the area of Human Capital Development.
