Suggesting more ways towards forestalling future occurrences, Mr. Shaka, Chairman of ADYA (Akpekpe heritage zone) stated that a law be enacted that would prevent heavy duty trucks from coming into town during the day when commercial and communal activities have kicked off. He advised that such law can specify times when such trucks are not allowed to come during the day and when they are allowed to come in during the night when human activities have reduced.

This was taking into consideration pending when there's a council when councilors can hold a plenary to come up with such laws that are necessary for the control of heavy duty vehicles.

Chairman of EWLGA assured all that though bylaws are necessary for actualizing some of the measures necessary for savaging the incessant accidents, he will present the issue at the Peace and Security Meeting to help gain more acceptance for these measures in view of creating the needed solutions as soon as possible.
