The people of Auchi Sacred Kingdom have been warned against the act of drug abuse and use of controlled substances as a result of their dire consequences on Saturday at the Royal Palace.
Professor Z.I. Oseni, Chief Imam of Auchi Sacred Kingdom in conjunction with Mr. Sami of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency informed the public that drug abuse and the consumption or use of controlled substances do nothing but destroys the society.
The Chief Imam who spoke from the religious view of the matter explained that as a result of the influence of certain substances or drugs either as a result of intoxication or other ignoble conditions can remove one from the folds of the true worship of Allah _Islam.

Adding to this, the NDLEA senior official present, Mr. Sami, after expressing appreciation over the resolve of Auchi Sacred Kingdom at stamping out illicit activities from the Kingdom informed all that the easiest way to destroy a society is to inject drugs into it.
Sami warned against the use of hard drugs, unhealthy consumption of alcohol and other substances for certain activities and x-rayed the dangers ranging from depression to organ damage and down to eventual death of the abuser's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual life.
"You don't need to use guns if you want to destroy a society. The easiest way a society is killed is to inject drugs into the Youths and watch how the society die." He said.
