His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom admonished the people and residents of Auchi Sacred Kingdom through the Otaru-in-Council (OiC) on Sunday stating that pollution by any means is inimical to progress.
It should be recalled that on Sunday the 11th of July 2021, the Monarch ordered that dumping of refuse in drainages be banned across all villages and instructed the Daudus to put in places measures to arrest and prosecute offenders in a bid to deter others from perpetrating the evil act of pollution, flooding and erosion accessioned by dumping of refuse in drainages.
Yesterday (18th of July), His Royal Highness dwelt on the need to desist from acts that could pass for noise pollution in that such practices hinder Community Development as the Good Angels of Allah do not come close to areas polluted by noise and dirt.
He urged the Daudus and their aids to in collaboration with local Vigilante and the Police ensure that areas where disturbances and Pollution are caused by Noise and Dirt are addressed and offenders deterred from further perpetration.
