Youths of Auchi Sacred Kingdom under the aegis of Auchi Dynamic Youths Association have expressed appreciation to the Otaru-in-Council on Sunday.
The apex association of youths in the Kingdom made a motion of appreciation to the Palace of the Otaru to honor the monarch and his chiefs for the efforts put in to uplifting Auchi onto enviable heights amongst her counterparts in Edo North.
It was gathered that ADYA took the decision to thank His Royal Highness, Alhaji H.A. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom for his unflinching support towards activities and programmes that are capable of catapulting Auchi and her indigenes to great heights. Led by Mallam Nurudeen, the president of ADYA, the association stated that they were impressed by the way and manner the monarch has conducted himself as well as has continued to offer prayers for the progress of Auchi.
In view of the 24th Auchi Day Celebration of Allah which featured prayers in the cosmopolitan city for the continuous upliftment of Auchi through her sons and daughters home and abroad, the youths thanked the Otaru and his chiefs for the way they showed and have continued to show good example to the people by ensuring that government laid down covid-19 protocols are adhered to whilst preaching and reminding all about the core values and morals of Auchi Sacred Kingdom. Though Auchi Day Celebration of Allah comes with fanfare as a result of the activities it features every 8th of January, this year’s Auchi Day was marked only with prayers under strict covid-19 rules devoid of fanfare and crowds.
To express their elation at the modus-operandi of the Otaru and his Chiefs in piloting Auchi enroute the path of greatness, Auchi Dynamic Youths presented to the Noble King the Glorious Book, Al-Qur’an and a Royal Umbrella. They also gifted the Palace Chiefs rechargeable Fans as a token of their appreciation.

HRH Alhaji A.H. Momoh,
accepted the gifts with thanks and prayed for the youths for finding out time
to honor him and his co-pilots in the flight of Auchi. He assured all of his
continued will to keep helping to lead Auchi further by the grace of Allah to
heights like never before anticipated and stated that the gesture from the
youths is a morale boost and a pointer towards the fact that the youths are in
with him on the Auchi Project. He again seized the opportunity to advise and
appeal that given the severity of the Corona Virus infection, everyone must act
responsibly and ensure that all non-pharmaceutical rules and protocols as directed
by Government, NCDC and the W.H.O must be followed to the letter to help fight
covid-19 to a standstill.
