UmarFaruq Gets a Walker Courtesy of ACCFI/AWC

The Auchi Community Charitable Fund Initiative in collaboration with the Auchi Welfare Committee has on Monday gifted Adamu Umoru UmarFaruq a Walker as part of measures aimed at facilitating his healing.

Enaholo J.K. was on ground to receive the item on behalf of the child's family for onward presentation to the said child.

UmarFaruq who just got discharged from the University of Benin Teaching Hospital  courtesy of contributions made by the Auchi Community Charitable Fund Initiative together with other well meaning sons and daughters of Auchi Sacred Kingdom at home and in the Diaspora suffered a rare neurological condition that affected his legs, speech and sight.

Having undergone 6months of medicare together with series of surgical procedures at UBTH, UmarFaruq can now see, talk and stand with little difficulty in walking.

To aid in his total healing and in view of enabling him regain his ability to walk unaided, the Chairman of the Auchi Community Charitable Fund Initiative, HRH, Alh. Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom magnanimously gifted the boy a walker.

The walker was presented by the Chairman Auchi Welfare Committee, Chief Alhaji Aniru Garuba, Daudu of Iyekhei heritage zone in the presence of Chief Alhaji H.M. Momoh, Daudu 1 of Auchi Sacred Kingdom and Chief Alhaji Kassimu Umoru, Daudu of Akharuma Village.

Family members of the boy are grateful to God, His Royal Highness, and the ACCFI together with all who have contributed to this course and pray that Allah rewards all with endless bounty.

Auchi Community Charitable Fund Initiative is a non governmental organization (NGO) that networks good hearted Auchi Sons and Daughters both at home and in the Diaspora with the aim of getting requisite help for the poor, needy and less privileged in the society.

Chaired by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, the charitable initiative is open for partnerships and sponsorships in view of reaching out and touching lives positively to the Glory of God and for the benefit of mankind.

We are currently building a pool of funds to facilitate our objectives and any contribution towards driving this project to fruition will be greatly appreciated.
