This letter of approval from the Ministry of Aviation for the construction of an Airport cought my attention this morning and I decided that we critically look at it in view of coming up with an explanation for the questions that have come up.
From reliable sources we've gathered that before now, some companies proposed the creation of an airport which was to be sited in Okpella due to its location and nearness to raw materials coupled with other sundry issues.
However, in November, the Federal Ministry of Aviation together with the Edo State Government of came for an inspection of the site in Uzairue.
We are well aware that Okpella is in Etsako East and Uzairue is in Etsako West but the approval letter from the Ministry carries both Okpella and Uzairue as entities in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
What's the explanation for this?
How can we wrap our minds around this?
Governor Godwin Obaseki please what's happening here?
Is the letter genuine or just another fabrication from political detractors aimed at causing confusion?

"The thing speaks for itself" is strong legal principle or maxim that's almost indefeasible.
ReplyDeleteWhat we are seeing here cannot be supported by either traditional or register government. Clearly insupportable!

I mean no traditional or regular govt can mix up land from two different LGs and call it one name super-imposed!
