Yamahs and Tomos drawn from all the villages of Auchi Sacred Kingdom have affirmed that year 2021 Manhood Initiation Festivities in Auchi Sacred Kingdom shall be held devoid of any mal-activities.
This they told His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh on Sunday at the Otaru in Council (OiC) meeting.
They informed the OiC that plans have been put in place to ensure that security of lives and properties is guaranteed and stated that the boys who shall become men in the aftermath of year 2021 Eid'ul Khabir Festivities have been oriented and are fully aware of the modus operandi expected.
His Highness in response asked that the boys be made to register as eligible voters in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration CVR exercise as part of the prerequisites that qualify them for the Manhood Initiation. He called on Yamahs and Tomos to collaborate with the police and local vigilante to provide ample security during the festivities.
