My Dearly Beloved King

_His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom.

In 1934 when a cry greeted all who were alive to hear, see and welcome an offspring of Truth, no one there (at the time) knew that this child, beautiful but fragile, would become the Regal Monarch in whose hands Auchi would be catapulted into what we now know as a Sacred Kingdom where the irrevocable law of nature seem to have bounded all to the point that sons, daughters and visitors have become alike _cohabiting without bias for or against each other.

Your coming can be likened to a call answered to fulfil a destiny, one that has become manifest in all spheres of our collective existence. 

Today, with as little as a cursory look at the Fastest Growing Town into a City in Nigeria, one can see that the nodal area bears a mark of your touch.

Even before your ascension to the throne, you've embarked on a voyage towards engendering peace and priceless this peace has been to the point that we've purchased quantum progress with the value it possesses above all currencies known to man _dead and alive.

X-raying all that you do will run dry an ocean of ink. However, permit me to touch certain areas out of the numerous workings of Your Royal Highness that interest me.

The Auchi Comprehensive High School was borne out of the need for an institution of secondary education. One that would in no small measure help raise hands and brains for the development of our dear nation from the heart of the Kukuruku Hills.

Through a conglomeration of progressive minded and good hearted sons and daughters of our Land, you raised the necessary resources (human and material) that brought forth the establishment of Auchi Comprehensive High School. At the time, it was a feat impossible for one to conceive nor for a few to materialize but to the Glory of God, it was a success and this was handed to the government of Professor Ambrose Ali the then governor of the old Bendel state for running in 1980.

In 2003, you gave birth to a conceived idea that transformed Auchi from a Kingdom of Five Heritage Villages to a Cosmopolitan Town of additional 20 Villages _making it 25 Villages today.

Why? Many would ask. The answer is not farfetched. 

You saw the potential for growth in making the administration of all areas of the Sacred Kingdom one that could be felt by all through the reach of your rulership. 

Today, the growth explosion awes the blind and is heard even by the deaf _for in our hearts the effect of your reign is felt.

What's more? You sold that which was essential to you _a property acquired through divine intervention far away in the Center of Excellence, South-West (Lagos state) with the intent of achieving yet a divine goal _to build a worship center for the Glorification of and Service to Allah, Creator of all that exists (seen and unseen).

Today, in Auchi Sacred Kingdom is situated one of the largest Masjids in the world built from proceeds of the property of yours you sold in Lagos and from resources devoid of impurities.

Then there's the icing on the cake. Like I said earlier, it's not possible in this material time to pen down all the good you've done but in all that interest me, there's one feat that beats even the ones I've been able to briefly mention in the foregoing paragraphs.

What is the icing on the cake for me is the message of Truth, Truth which you've aptly defined as the father or master of Justice.

What is the Truth? Allah (the knowing that He alone is to be worshiped without attribution, the realization of the fact that it is in the worship of Allah that the heart finds rest).

Incessantly, you have spoken of the truth, repeated your admonition and reiterated the import of speaking, promoting and standing by the truth even at great loss to self and family.

Today, I together with the many disciples you've inspired with the message of the truth now have a resounding memory of all you preach. A flash of your image in our minds echoes the words, Truth, Justice for Peace and Progress.

I sincerely hope that you come across this not as an eulogy that seeks to portray your being as a perfect creature of the Creator. No. You're simply a human born with flaws but entrusted with a divine message _to convey that which you know to humanity. It is in my memory your explanation of a biblical verse of when Isa(Jesus) Alai-salam was called Good and how he rebuked the caller and stated emphatically that the only One worthy of being called Good is God. In view of this lesson, I cannot afford to call you good but it'll suffice to call you a caller to that which is Good, promoter of godly acts.

My prayers are simple. You came with a message, you've delivered the message and I together with all who are inspired by the message so delivered bear witness that indeed an imperfect man saddled with a task has carried out the task in full. May the reward inherent in workings such as yours reach you effortlessly from the Best Bestower of Blessings _Allah.

As I drop my pen, please bear in mind that today, Auchi Sacred Kingdom radiates your light _the light that was lit in you to torch our paths to the Truth.
