Manhood Initiation Festivities shall be held in Auchi Sacred Kingdom during the Eid dul Kabir (Big Sallah) festivities of the year 2021.

This decision was arrived at in the cause of Sunday's Otaru in Council (OiC) meeting at the Royal Palace.

The question of whether the Initiation Ceremonies would or should hold was answered in the affirmative by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi.

The Monarch while responding to the question asked by the Daudu of Aibotse village, Alhaji Yesufu affirmed that the manhood-age grading ceremonies shall be held but that all potential members to be initiated must ensure that they are fully registered as voters since they have attained the voting age.

His Highness also approved that a meeting be held wherein all who are to be initiated would be invited and oriented in line with the expectations of Kingdom.

He mandated Hajia Aperua Yusuf, the health committee chairperson, Auchi Dynamic Youth organization and the Daudus of all villages in the kingdom to ensure that the young boys who shall soon become men are discouraged from engaging in vices like drug abuse, self medication, cultism and other illicit illegal activities capable of causing harm and disrepute to the people as well as encourage them with the message of Truth and Justice.

In view of the need to reach everyone of the oncoming Age-Group, a tactical committee was formed to ensure that every member is accounted for via a database and a meeting slated of Saturday the 10th of July has been scheduled to address the boys at the Central Mosque, Auchi.

It should be noted that INEC's Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise has commenced online via cvr.inecnigeria.org since the 28th of June and that physical registration comes up on the 19th of July across all Local Government INEC offices of the federation.
