Christian Ogene, an indigene of Okpella Community is asking salient questions about monies paid to the community for mining activities in Okpella.
The young man expresses fear over a possible disaster that could occur as a result of mining operations in the area and demands what those in charge of collecting the levies are doing with the sum being collected yearly.
Christian claims that about 200million Naira is paid to the community and even though how this sum was arrived at and agreed on is shrouded in mystery, there is nothing being done with the monies to develop the community.
"How did we get here?" He asks.
The young man is concerned for the wellbeing of his home and all who live there and has assumed the responsibility of calling its leaders to order so that they can take responsibility.
