Cultism and cult related activities have been banned in Auchi Sacred Kingdom by the Otaru, HRH, Alhaji A.H. Momoh, Ikelebe III on the grounds of acts of threat to security.

This was announced during a meeting at the Palace on Sunday by the Monarch after receiving reports from his Chiefs and some subjects on the matter of Cultism.

It was reported that members of certain confraternities have begun a tradition of firing live ammunition whenever deceased members are to be buried and that such act goes against the traditions of the Sacred Kingdom.

This report was deliberated upon by chiefs and subjects who feared that such could degenerate to unhealthy practices that undermines security.

Discussing the way forward, suggestions were made _one of which was a suggestion to visit an existing Rainbow Coalition in view of tasking heads of confraternities to caution their members. On the flip side, it was advised that laws be enacted to prevent sons and daughters of Auchi from delving into acts of Cultism.

In all, it was agreed by the OiC that the act of firing live ammunition during burials is foreign to the people's culture and unsafe for peaceful coexistence.

Therefore the Chief of Defence of Auchi Sacred Kingdom was mandated by the Otaru to swiftly ensure that cult activities in the area are monitored and curtailed.

His Royal Highness, the Otaru of Auchi appealed that the people of Auchi should as a matter of sanity and spirituality jettison Cultism for all the vices it breeds stating that   Allah frowns at such practices and that the people of Auchi Sacred Kingdom will not forgive misdeeds from cultists going forward.
