Concerned youths of Auchi Sacred Kingdom came together on Sunday at HRH Alhaji A. H. Momoh Town Hall to hold the 1st event at the new Town Hall built by Aidokhai Age Group.

An event borne out of the need to come together and chart a new course for the advancement of Auchi Sacred Kingdom saw youths congregating in a bid to add value to the collective existence of those from the Cosmopolitan City in Afenmai Land.

The programme which was done to bring about a common unity amongst youths in the community across all levels, status, backgrounds, orientations as well as political and religious affiliations featured an uncommon avenue for the collection and collation of bio-data of youths in attendance. This is informed by the need to create a platform where Youths from the Political Headquarters of Edo North can always relate and communicate.

 

The event had lectures on topical and value addition issues as part of plans geared towards enriching the experiences of youths in the Kingdom of Auchi. Mallam Ali Monsur together with other speakers delivered youth oriented speeches around the following:

1. The Roles and Importance of Youths in Community Development.

2. Auchi in 2025 & Beyond: Youths as Important Stakeholders

To this end, it is safe to say that life cannot remain the same for all who graced the occasion as in one way or the other, every Attendee was impacted positively and or positively impacted others for the benefit of Man and for the Glory of God.

Mallam Nurudeen, Chairman Auchi Dynamic Youths together with the various Zonal heads from the various villages in Auchi reemphasized the need for a collective synergy between the youths and elderly. Speaking during the event, Nurudeen appealed for unconditional show of love amongst the youths and discouraged antagonistic tendencies stating that such vices are inimical to the progress of any community.

The event was attended by the Ódwévho of Auchi Sacred Kingdom and CEO of Danish Cuisines, Alhaji Idris Yahaya, Rotarian Sadoh Yekini, Director Poly Consult, Auchi Polytechnic, Mallam Braimah Jafar (Lucky Markus) of Itsemhakhona, Auchi Students Association (Auchi Polytechnic Chapter) Sir Aigbona, President Sports Writers Also of Nigeria (SWAN), presidents of Auchi Dynamic Youths from all zones, professionals from all strata of  Academics and Entrepreneur and was anchored by Mallam Akim a former Dynamic Youth Chairman and Muhammed aka MCee Medical.

All in attendance together with the convener, Alhaji Muhammed Ezolomhe agreed at the end that given our peculiarities as a people, those admitted into the folds of the youth bracket are those within the age range of 18 to 50.

This was confirmed by the imcubent Youth President, Mallam Nurudeen in a Statement while addressing the media.

Youths who couldn't attend the event but followed via Zoom and AUCHI BLOG expressed elation as well as satisfaction but regretted not being physically present to join in the refreshing refreshments made available in abundance. Most are of the opinion that another one be organized soon.

It should be noted here that COVID-19 safety protocols as prescribed by W.H.O, NCDC, Federal and State Governments were obeyed strictly with the provision of Facemasks and Hand Sanitizers in order to forestall any risk of contamination and transmission.
