Senate Confirms Sheikh Suleiman Momoh & Others

It is no longer a eavesdropping news but reality that the Senate yesterday, graciously confirmed and approved the Board for the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in the hallowed chamber of the National Assembly.

Prince (Sheikh) Suleiman Imonikhe Momoh, a lecturer from the prestigious Auchi Polytechnic, Edo state, a man of the blue blood from the Momoh royal family of Auchi Sacred Kingdom was confirmed by the Senate as EXECUTIVE COMMISSIONER - PLANNING, RESEARCH, STATISTICS, INFORMATION & LIBRARY. Prince Suleiman Momoh is representing South-South Geo-Political Zone of Nigeria.

The jovial and bearded Imam ll of the largest Juma'at purpose built mosque in the whole of South-South and South-East, Arafat Mosque Auchi, along other members got the full nod of the red chamber following the report of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs led by Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa, the Committee having done a thorough job according to the upper legislative chamber recommended the 18 nominees for confirmation. The new National Hajj Commission of Nigeria

Earnestly, as much as we celebrate this reinventing milestone that our people once occupied (though at regional level) of over six decades when imperishable Justice KESSIGHTON SALMAN YERIMA MOMOH was made Chairman, Western Nigerian Muslim Pilgrimage Welfare Board (WNMPWB), first of it kind in Nigeria, in the 1950s when the most pronounced political oracle in Nigeria party-politics, Chief Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo was then the Premier of Western Region.

Thanks and appreciation 'Jazakalahu Khairan' to Mr. President, President Muhammadu Buhari and all carriers of this actualization. May Allah rewards you all and foster our people with more places of good and high names.
