Respect Adams Aliu Oshiomhole _Clem Agba

The honorable Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba has been hosted by Afenmai Patriotic Development Association APDA at SKI Hotel, Agenebode on Monday the 23rd of December, in honour of his appointment and milestone achievements over the years.

The Minister who was celebrated by the APDA was graced by Royal fathers across Edo state, Politicians, Technocrats, Dignitaries from the world of academics to mention but a few for being a son of Afenmai as well as member of APDA who has achieved enviable heights up the ladder of success in politics and other facets of the society.

Delivering a keynote speech on behalf of APDA, the interim president, SHC Kenedy Izuagbe described Clem as a progressive minded individual who has in many ways facilitated the core mandate of Afenmai Patriotic Development Association. He informed all that the association which is a non-partisan body of positive minded children of Afenmai extraction, is poised at driving home developmental programmes that will give Afenmai a face lift.

“the aim of APDA is to determine the future, what the government has for us and also what the office can contribute to the Afenmai People.”

He further stated that APDA is goal driven to propagate, represent, direct, influence, and champion the political and economic direction of Afenmai Afenmai people and this is evident in the fact that a lot of Afenmai Sons and Daughters have gotten economic and political breakthrough as a result of the association’s quality representation and good governance.

“…membership of our association is open to all enlightened members of Afenmai land to share in our ideas and aspirations. I welcome you all to this occasion as we celebrate and congratulate our own patriot Clem Agba and wish him success in his new assignment” he concluded.

Barr. Sylva Ogwemoh SAN read the citation of the Minister after which the honorable Minister appreciated the attendees of the occasion profoundly, stating that the people of Affenmai land should appreciate the workings of the Ex Comrade Governor of Edo state who now is the National Chairman of the Ruling All Progressive Congress. He enjoined all to accord respect to the chairman who has in no small measure driven down immeasurable amount of development to Edo North.

“my appointment is made possible today with the help of  Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole of Edo state and Edo North. The people of Edo North should thank him. Those disregarding Oshiomhole should desist from it and show more respect to this man who has brought development to Edo North.

This is the man who made it possible for me to become the first Minister in Edo North in General since 1999. I appreciate Oshiomhole and I call upon you all to support him as he is to be celebrated for developing Edo North and Afenmai as a whole.” He said.
