HRH, Alhaji A.H. Momoh, Otaru of Auchi |
“Put on Earth the Good, Stand by and Speak the Truth for Truth is the Father of Justice” _Otaru (Dec. 22, 2020))
The quote above is unlike anything I've heard from a mortal's mouth. Perhaps our King is no mere mortal.
He is calm, calculated, intelligent and very spiritual. So, whenever he speaks, his words are laced with divine wisdom.
However, my understanding of the modus operandi of Kings may be shallow in view of the fact that my experience with same is minimal at the moment. Notwithstanding, a wise King has fueled my newly discovered love for sitting with and listening to kings express expressions in wisdom.
His Royal Highness, Alhaji A.H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, the Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom cannot be aptly defined, described nor painted in ways that can best illustrate his life, living and being. An ocean of words may run dry, and not even all the trees from the Amazon would suffice if ever (as a writer) I chose to make my inklings from their inks and papers.
However, this is not entirely an intent geared towards eulogizing our Noble Monarch. This is not me praise-singing His Highness. Truth is, if you truly know and have had time to engage the Otaru in a constructive conversation, you would understand my current situation.
It's difficult to talk/write about the King without resorting to seeming Glorifications.
December 27th 2020 is a day in my life I will forever hold onto as in that day lies an experience _one that altered my preconceived notions, changed my perspective and reorganized my perception. That day I had to unlearn what I've known and open up to an appreciable new and superior ideal/idea.
What happened?
On the aforementioned day (which was a Sunday) His Highness called upon Barr. Sumaina Usman (the then Daudu of Isanmi Village who is now the Daudu of Akpekpe) and ordered that he together with a Daudu or two should head to Iméké and inform Chief Oshiafi Sunday that he(the Otaru was on his way to Iméké).
Mixed feelings and reactions trailed the air as nobody knew what may have led to that call nor why it was important and urgent that the King would make his way to the community of Iméké people on a day that is set aside to discuss the way forward for the people of Auchi Sacred Kingdom.
Long story short, we got to Iméké, entered the Palace and all those who made their way to the community in view of seeing the Otaru and hearing what he had to say were wowed. Jaws dropped as the Noble Monarch enriched our experience with the message he was divinely inspired to deliver earlier that morning.
Here, he established a sacred fact that 'Truth is the Father of Justice'. He encouraged virtues and promoted ties. What's more? He called to the path, the path that leads to Paradise, the path of Al-Islam.
It is unequivocally true that mankind has been commanded by certain commandments from God. These include the command to be kind, generous, magnanimous, patient, to persevere, love, care for, to learn, to know, to be fair, truthful and just. What's more important, Allah has commanded that one who has been guided to the path should guide others too.
Daily, our Noble King strives to achieve the goal of practicing all the aforementioned through his interrelationships with everyone that crosses his path to the point that he has made deliberate moves to plant the good he has been divinely ordered to plant not just in Auchi Sacred Kingdom but on other communities around the Cosmopolitan city that plays host to people from all walks of life.
Truth be told, no one is perfect but His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom has perfectly planted on Earth that which is good to the point that Auchi has geometrically ascended enviable heights amongst her peers across all spheres.
I am Enaholo J.K., I Testify that the King has achieved his mandate and will be remembered as one under whose reign Auchi experienced Developments like never before, despite obvious drawbacks.
May Allah's Nur shine on him. May our Lord's Rahma reign on him. May the rest of his days be the best of his days.
