The Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council Hon. (Alhaji) Imonofi Inusa has on Thursday 19th of December sworn-in the new Supervisory Councilors to the Local Government.
In his remark, the Executive Chairman charged them to always portray the resounding characteristic of fairness in the course of discharging their duties and to do same without fear or favour as this will lead to good leadership.
He admonished that he together will the councilors as well as staff of the council have one primary objective and that is to deliver good governance and that there is no way this can be achievable if all concerned do not play as a people oriented team for the development of the Local Government Area.
“This is a unique opportunity given to you to serve our people for the development of the local government and so we must work together as a team to achieve success.
As the Chairman, I cannot do it all alone but with your support and dedication we would provide the service of good governance.” He said.
The newly appointed Supervisory Councillors are; Hon. Sule Asemokhai, Hon. Theophilus Momoh, Hon. Faruk Mohammed, Hon. Abass Adamu and Hon. Momodu Nuhu.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Hon. Sule Asemokhai said it is an honour and privilege for him and his colleagues to be engaged in the capacity for which they have been sworn in. He assured the Chairman and by extension the local government of their loyalty and indivisibility to work as a team to ensure that Etsako West Local Government records lofty accomplishments for enviable heights.
