YZK Foundation Scholarship Programme: "People Should take Information about Scholarships Serious and Act Accordingly." _Otaru of Auchi

"No Single Student from Akpekpe Heritage Village Applied." _Ahmed Kadiri

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom has called on sons and daughters of Auchi to always be on the alert, not only look out for information about scholarships but more importantly to act upon same by applying.

This he said while responding to the complaint made by Sir Ahmed Kadiri, the representative of Dr. Yahaya and Mrs. Lami Zekeri Kadiri (Sponsors of the YZK Foundation Scholarship Programme) who expressed surprise that no application was received from Akpekpe. He stated that aside not getting any response from Akpekpe, the response rate was generally poor even though information about the scheme came out in good time and was communicated widely by AUCHI BLOG.

The Monarch was particularly worried that although YZK Foundation Scholarship Programme initially wanted to award scholarship to 50 students, the scheme ended up awarding 20 because that was all it got.

"That's to say 30 of our children who are students out there have missed out on this rewarding opportunity. Our people should learn to attend to such information once they get same so that we won't miss such opportunity next time."  He said.

His Highness lauded the efforts of The Community's Eye and called on him to do more in helping to communicate more information about Opportunities for the advancement of Auchi, Etsako and Afenmai as in doing so, more people may get to benefit.

Reacting to the issue of less number of awardees, some members at the occasion expressed regret for not sharing and encouraging their relatives to apply.
Anonymously, speaking with Enaholo J.K., a respondent stated that he together with his people thought it was just a hoax or PR strategy for AUCHI BLOG & SERVICES to gain more followers but now that the scheme is confirmed, people will take information seriously especially when it comes from any of the platforms of AUCHI BLOG.

Having successfully held the maiden edition of YZK FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME Awards on Saturday (6th of August), the scheme is going to be a yearly scholarship scheme where the sponsors will be awarding bright but indigent students going forward.
Sir Ahmed Kadiri assured all that the scheme will continue but shall be very competitive in the coming years as its aim is to award brilliant students who have the potential for success in their studies.

We at #ABS are appealing to our teeming fans to always do well to share as you may never know who is going to benefit from your simple act of sharing.
Sharing is Caring 🙏🏽
