No fewer than 10 shop owners in Auchi Sacred Kingdom have tendered bitter complaints to the Otaru of Auchi on Sunday about the breaking and entry acts done by suspected thieves who burgled their shops and carted away products overnight.

In an emotional narration, the women who took turns in reporting their ordeals stated that their shops were visited at night by burglars who broke into their shops and stole all of their clothing and clothing accessories.

AUCHI BLOGspot gathered that majority of these shops are located along Otaru road, Polytechnic road and are shops run solely by young women with the intent of making gains with which families are fed and bills paid.

Responding to the development, some stakeholders appealed to the Vigilante to start thinking out of the box in savaging security and theft related matters in collaboration with the Police.

On his part, Dr. Mustafa M. Lecky, Galadima of Auchi after empathizing with the women appealed that owners of small and large scale businesses in Auchi should begin to think of insurance for their businesses.

He called on the women to form a cooperative society and employ the service of an insurance agency to help manage their risks for as low as 5 to 10 thousand Naira yearly.

HRH, Alh. A.H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom lauded suggestions made and promised to help the women pull through the trying times.

Sequel to this, on Saturday's Emhö Neytö, The Community's Eye hosted Mr. James Momoh Aleakhue of Allianz to discuss insurance as it concerns business owners in Auchi.

In the cause of that conversation, Momoh noted that people should begin to take their businesses seriously by ensuring that they jealously protect same through various insurance policies that would return owners to the previous status they were in before a loss was incurred.

He said that with as little as #5,000 per year, a business worth #500,000 (for example) can be insured against theft, fire or natural disasters.
