A Lexus Vehicle has crashed into a giant signpost few poles away from Auchi Polytechnic's Main Campus Gate along the Benin-Okene Expressway on Friday.
Though it is unclear under what conditions the driver was driving, the vehicle was seen to have speedily vie off the expressway on the Polytechnic side of the road, ram into a giant signpost --bringing same down on the untarred side of the road.
There were no casualties but the young man behind the wheels sustained injuries and has been rushed to a health facility in the area.
Reports from Amarachi a Mass Communication student reveals that the accident happened at exactly 8:36 a.m when some students were hurrying to school for academic exercises.
She stated that the driver seemingly wanted to slow down when the vehicle tumbled into the untarred side of the expressway just opposite GT Plaza.
