Auchi Microfinance Bank Opens a Cash Office in Auchi Polytechnic, Promises Seamless Financial Services

Auchi Microfinance Bank LTD has opened a cash office for the rendering of financial services at the Area 2 Axis of Auchi Polytechnic on Thursday.

The financial institution which has been in existence since 1995 first as Uchi Community Bank and later as Auchi Microfinance Bank after due registration in 2008 as result of the Federal Government's introduction of the Microfinance system in 2001has grown tremendously in the financial sector to the point that even though the bank is headquartered at No. 40, Otaru road, it offers remote services to a vast client base outside Edo State and beyond the shores of Nigeria.

To get her services closer to staff and students of the Federal Polytechnic located in Auchi, the management established a cash office partly to fulfil its expansion campaign and to register its presence in the minds of the internal/external publics of the Polytechnic and her host communities.

Here, aside the potentials of the new cash office to help create bank accounts and carry out various transactions for its potential customer base, students and staff will get the opportunity to learn more about the services of Microfinance banks and explore the various facilities available for their benefits.

Speaking to AUCHI BLOG , Alhaji Chief Hassan Momodu, Chairman Board of Directors stated that the bank will operate a symbiotic relationship with the Polytechnic in order to achieve certain financial related goals that will advance the course of the institution and that of the bank going forward.

Prince Chief Yusuf Danz Momoh explained the endless possibilities of transacting with Auchi Microfinance Bank and called on the public to patronize the services of the new cash office which is now closer to a new target audience at Auchi Polytechnic.

He informed all that the bank is opened to granting various credit facilities to both students, staff and guests of the institution and stated that the Unique Selling Point of the Bank is that getting some of these credit facilities take less time to process.

On his part, Mr. Jimoh Adamu, the Managing Director described the feat as a new dawn in the financial live of the bank's existence. Giving kudos to his team, board of directors and the polytechnic management for helping to pull through with the project, he stated that the new cash office has come to make financial services easier for all within and around its site.

Highpoint of the opening ceremony was the official opening ritual performed by Dr. Salisu Shehu Umar, Rector of Auchi Polytechnic who was ably represented by Dr. Eshiotse, Mr. Momoh Usman, Mr. Samson together with some other staff of the institution.

The event was attended by the His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom represented by Alhaji Chief Yahya Dirisu (Odwevho of Auchi), Chief Sule Yesufu (Daudu of Aibotse Heritage Zone), staff of the Bank together with some clients and friends of Auchi Microfinance Bank.
