Mrs. Nefishetu Aliu, Headmistress of Ekhei Primary School has on Wednesday Informed the Auchi Dynamic Youths, Iyekhei Zone that she has been instructed not to accept any gifts/donations from the Association.
She made this known when members of the association who were on a mission of distribution of learning and instruction items to schools within the Iyekhei heritage zone visited her school.
This sparked mixed reactions and degenerated into a squabble between members of the vigilante squad in the area and Auchi Dynamic Youths who had come with the intent of giving learning materials to the school.
Reacting to the the headmistress' response to their gesture, Abubakar Abdul-Azeez, president of ADYA (Iyekhei Zone) who did not get any answer from the school's head when he asked her who gave the instruction expressed disappointment over the incidence.

Speaking to AUCHI BLOG on the matter, he said, "we had come here to donate some gift items to aid learning but I'm surprised that the headmistress is telling us that she has been instructed not to collect such from the youths.
Soon after she refused to accept the items, some elders and vigilante members in the school came in to fight us."
On investigations, AUCHI BLOG gathered that there has been a squabble between the Exco of Auchi Dynamic Youths (Iyekhei Zone) and some Elders of the Iyekhei Community over the IGR being generated by the association.
It is alleged that some elders and former Exco of the body had wanted to be in charge of revenue collection from sales points created along Auchi Polytechnic Road _just by Ekhei Primary School's fence but the incumbent Exco truncated the move on the grounds that these areas are avenues from which IGR is generated to maintain structures and service institutions within the Iyekhei axis.

Even our very own schools are being sadly politicized.
