Coach SomeOne together with his team of Afenmai United FC staff and players have received attention from the Auchi Community Charitable Fund Initiative after a Diasporean came across the team's appeal for funds earlier in January 2022.
The team had in January through her Head Coach cried out for help via a local communications platform _AUCHI BLOG & SERVICES.

Coach SomeOne who appeal for help from well meaning Afenmai Sons and Daughters stated that Afenmai United FC was in dire need of funds to register into the FA and States Leagues.
He told AUCHI BLOG that the cumulative sum of #160,000 was needed to register the team at both leagues and appealed for more contributions towards helping to get football kits and called on government across all levels to provide the needed infrastructure necessary for developing Sports in Afenmai land.
On Tuesday, luck smiled on the team when Auchi Community Charitable Fund Initiative received the team at the Otaru's Palace for the presentation of a sum of #250,000 donated by Mrs. Fatima Dankano, a daughter of Auchi Sacred Kingdom who is a member of the ACCFI and facilitator of the monthly feeding of widows and the less privileged in Auchi.

Coach SomeOne thanked AUCHI BLOGspot for helping to relate the team's plight to the world via a livestream and an online publication and promised a better outcome in view of encouraging the ACCFI and her donors to give more towards sports development in Afenmai land.
