Otaru of Auchi Donates Hospital Equipments to Edo State Government's Central Hospital, Auchi

Over two hundred million Naira worth of hospital materials have been doled out by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom to Central Hospital in Auchi on Wednesday.

The presentation of the state-of-the-art medical items was held at the premises of the Central Hospital in view of helping the Government Health Facility perform better in its mandate.

HRH, Alh. A.H. Momoh handed over the items to the Edo State Government through Dr. Imoisili, MD of the Central Hospital who represented H.E. Governor Godwin N. Obaseki through the Edo State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Obehi Akoria.

He stated that the items which were imported from the United States of America came in via a 40feet container  and was sponsored by Auchi Daughters in the US who have consistently sent help home for the benefit of the downtrodden who ordinarily could not afford same.

The Commissioner of Health thanked His Highness, recounted the Monarch's numerous assistance and humanitarian services towards improving health and other spheres of human endeavors.

She promised that the items will be put to immediate judicious use to give the Hospital a facelift and provide better comfort for patents _stating that the state Government appreciates the uncommon gesture and that same will not be taken for granted.

40 hospital beds, Vital Signs Machines, Bedside Commodes, Wheelchairs, Tissue Dispensers, Walking Canes, Walkers and Crutches, Boxes Face Shields, Boxes of syringes, A&D, BP Monitors, BP Cuffs for Adults, Children and Infants andTongue Blades.

Other items include Laptops, Microscopes, Hospital Blankets, Shower Chairs, IV Poles, Hospital Patients Bags, Patient Combs, Toothbrushes, Toothpastes, Shaving Creams and more.

The event was graced by all Village heads of Auchi, Medical staff of the Central Hospital, Chiefs, as well as people from all walks of life who came to appreciate the good and godly work of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom who magnanimously assisted the Edo State Government with prized hospital materials to the Glory of God and for the benefit of mankind.
