Miss Afenmai 2021: Host Clears the Air on Origin of Contestants

The Miss Afenmai Beauty Pageant and Awards which was held on Sunday the 5th of December at Auchi has recorded some waves of controversy in it's aftermath as a result of the states each Contestant represented.

Many have questioned the rationale behind having young women from outside the shores of Edo State contest in a pageant that is Afenmai Oriented and frowned at the organizer's modus operandi stating that the action does not represent the interest of Afenmai.

In a recent post from Mrs. Amidat Austin Okoh's wall, the organizer cleared the air by setting the records straight.
While expressing gratitude to God for the success of the event, she revealed the actual places of origin of the new Queen together with the 1st and 2nd Runners up.

"The Miss Afenmai Beauty Pageant and Awards 8th edition has come and Gone. But the memories won't be forgotten in a hurry. Our star prize of a car was won by Miss Imhanria  Maye Precious  from Igueben local government who proudly represented Miss Cross rivers. And the 1st runner up was won by Miss Anthony  Veronica (Miss tourism)from Etsako Central Anegbette represented Miss Anambra and 2nd runner is Miss Aweh Victory from Akoko Edo local government  represented  Miss Enugu. Miss Afenmai (Africa Female Empowering National Movement And Initiative) 8th edition has ended and our pet projects follows immediately in touching lives.  We look forward to making global impact not just in the grassroots.  Thank you so much."
