His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom has warmly appreciated Daughters of Auchi Extraction in the United States for driving home schemes that empower widows and the less privileged.

Otaru made the remark on Monday while attending to members of Auchi Development Foundation who paid him a courtesy visit on Monday the eve of Eid Kabir to familiarize themselves and register the formation of their association with His Highness.

The Monarch extolled the virtues of giving back to society through charitable acts that are beneficial to those who are in dire need of the essentials of life. He stressed that acts such as these in no small measure have heightened Auchi Sacred Kingdom on the peak of the Kukuruku Hills amongst her peers.

He told all present that Fatima Dankano together with other daughters of the Sacred Kingdom in Diaspora have been very instrumental to the formation of feeding and empowerment programmes that has made it a tradition for widows and the less Privileged to access good food, set up businesses and make ends meet through a scheme they came up with.

"Through these daughters of ours in the U.S., medical facilities and other essentials are being sent home for the benefit of our people and so I urge you to borrow a leaf from this because as you give, you'll continue to receive." He said.

Few weeks before big Sallah the descendants of Hajia Kende D.H. Momoh through their S.O.M.E National Food Bank Initiative doled out over a hundred bags of rice together with groundnut oil, tomatoe paste, salt and spices to widows and the needy.

So Others May Eat (S.O.M.E) is an NGO and one of the numerous channels through which Auchi Daughters in the Diaspora are impacting lives back home to the Glory of God and for the benefit of Mankind.
