"We don't sell chieftaincy titles to bidders in Auchi Sacred Kingdom. They are given in honor and recognition of those who are helping in the development of our communities in one way or the other."

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom made this known on Wednesday at the Palace during the Turbanning Ceremony of Chieftains in Auchi.

The Monarch informed all that divine inspiration guides the activities in and around selection of notable Children and Friends of Auchi for the conferment of titles befiting of their persons and for their contribution towards helping Auchi grow.

He seized the forum to encourage the people and residents of Auchi to toe the path of Truth in all they do as this will open up the bounty of Allah upon their lives in honor of their service to Him and Him (Allah) alone in worship.

Calling on the newly turbanned chiefs to do more, he stated that Allah elevates those who strive in His course in calling to the Truth.

His Royal Highness prayed for the chiefs and tasked them to do more as there is no better reward for good than good.
