Alhaji Chief Jafaru Jimoh (PhD), Daudu of Igbei Village has held a meeting with all the young men waiting to be initiated into manhood in his community.
Dr. Jafaru prevailed on the young chaps to be upright in their dealings in view of their ascension to a new status as men of Auchi Sacred Kingdom.
He explained the modalities for Initiation into manhood and stressed the need for the Uso'igbama (men-to-be) to desist from acts that are capable of bringing shame upon them and their families.
The Daudu warned against such vices as illicit use and consumption of drugs, alcohol and other materials that can influence one to perpetuate crimes and stated that such acts could lead to an unhealthy future for them and for the society at large.
He enjoined the boys to refrain from issues that could divide and lead them to fight each other, maintaining that unity is key to moving forward in life.

Furthermore, the Chief appealed for decorum, coordination of the self and informed all that it is of great importance to them and the cosmopolitan town of Auchi for them to get registered as voters in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
CVR has since commence online via cvr.inecnigeria.org and it is expected that everyone takes advantage of the time given for the exercise to register and get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).
