Sheikh Tijani Calls for Uniformity Amongst Callers to Prayers in Auchi

Callers to Prayer in Auchi Sacred Kingdom are to operate with unity of purpose in view of the uniqueness of the religion of Islam.

This was declared by Chief Tijani, the Bilal of Auchi Sacred Kingdom on Saturday at the former central Mosque, Ughelle.

Tijani decried irregularities in the times of call to prayers from different Mosques at different communities in Auchi and enjoined all to unite in the service and embrace some form of orderliness.

The Palace Chief appealed that an Islamic Calender which contains the times for prayers is available and that every Mosque should have one as well as follow strictly the times therein so that uniformity will be achieved.

He stated that the call was to bring all those calling to prayers across all the Mosques in Auchi on the same page, create a single platform of operations and interaction as well as engender unceasing communication of ideas, trends and changes as they come with one another.

The Bilal of Auchi stated that when there is order, coordination and consistency of action collectively, all those involved in the service of calling to prayer will attain a feat that will be beneficial beyond their imagination.
