"Facilitate the Upgrade of Auchi Polytechnic to University" Otaru Tells Presidential Visitation Panel

His Royal Highness, Alhaji A.H. Momoh, the Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom has called on the Presidential Visitation Panel to Auchi Polytechnic on Thursday to ensure that the dream of upgrading Auchi Polytechnic to a University is achieved.

The Monarch made this call when the Visitation Panel headed by Senator Sylvester Ayodele Arise paid him a courtesy visit as the Ruler of the host Community of Auchi Polytechnic.

Otaru of Auchi established the readiness of the institution of higher education to assume the status of a university pointing out the massive infrastructural gains it has experienced over the years. He noted that from local, national to the International space, Auchi Polytechnic has gotten positive reviews in her modus operandi cum the facilities it has put in place to make learning and practice easy for her students and staff.

He appealed to the Presidential Visitation Panel who have come in the wake of the newly constituted Governing Council of the institution to ensure that during their time as policy makers and action takers at the citadel of learning, the School becomes a university to the Glory of God and for the benefit of His creation.

Responding to the passionate appeal, Chairman of the Presidential Visitation Panel, Senator Sylvester Ayodele Arise thanked the Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom for his position on the matter and for his continuous support in ensuring the positive facelift of the institution. He assured the Monarch that since the Federal Government has assigned him and his team the duty of overseeing and directing the activities of the institution in view of bettering it, they will do all within their powers to ensure that by the Grace of God, the Otaru during his lifetime in good health shall come over to the institution and declare it open officially as a University.

Justice Princess Constance Momoh, Profesor Z.I. Oseni, Daudus of the the 5 major Heritage zones of Auchi Sacred Kingdom together with members of the Rectory headed by the Rector, Engr. Mustafa Zubair were present at the meeting.
