A young man of Hausa extraction suspected to be a bike thief has been apprehended by members of Auchi Vigilante Squad, Usogun Chapter.
General Ragae, the chairman of the Usogun Chapter of the Squad stated that two suspects were seen with bags of bikes' shock absorbers in the early hours of Sunday around Hausa Quarters and when they were interrogated, same claimed to have bought the items which were packaged in sacks.
They were however asked to show the vigilante where they bought the items from, but decided to dash off in an attempt to escape.
The vigilante together with concerned youths were able to catch up with one of the suspects by name Isiaka whilst the other unidentified suspect escaped.
General Ragae told Enaholo J.K. that the suspect will be handed over to the Police and investigation into where the items were stollen from shall be established in due course to return them to the owners.
