They won’t buy from you, promote you, recommend nor say something nice about you to their cronies, families and colleagues.

 

They'd turn away at the sight of you and yours, snigger at your flaws and unveil your sores.

 

When/where you're mentioned, they'd protest.

Anything from you, they detest.

All your proposals, they'd reject!

 

"Take him off."

"No, don't add him."

“Pick someone else."

"He shouldn't be here."

"I can't have him in our midst."

"Over my dead body he makes it!”

 

They  refute and refuse all that affiliates with you.

 

This is not because you are bad.

Far from it.

This is not because they are right.

Far from it.

 

That's God's way of answering most of your prayers.

 

When you say,

 

"God let them accept me!"

"God I need that job!"

"God I need this contract!"

"God endear me to them!"

"God enable me prove my worth!"

"God open their eyes to see that I can do it!"

 

They'd reply with responses in the fourth paragraph on this piece.

 

In all, Allah has answered your prayers by shining His Nur(Light) on you.

 

Now, your star irritates their darkness and so, like night, they'd crowd up against you.

 

Guess what?

 

Stars don't shine better when it's not Night yet.

 

“Las Las, God wey bring you come life don set your helper for your path.”

 

Keep the focus and remember, neither night nor day weighs a star down.

 

By day, a star is charged.

At night, a star shines.

 

You're a star,

 

Shine!
