For five unending minutes
I watched a white man
Prove how his skin
Made him more Superior as
My bro's life
Hung in the imbalance
Of his Mercy.

He was unarmed.
Yes, pics may lie but do LIVE cams?
They took him out with ease,
No pressure, they cuffed him.

He cried,
He gasped,
He begged for breath.
They never listened
Cuz he's black.

He died!

My pain isn't the act.

That he pressed his knees
Against my brother's neck
Wasn't as heartbreaking as
The pain of not being
Able to fight back

I'm sad.

This life no juz balance
