In
the wake of Government’s Stay-at-Home directive, Mr. Oshiokpekhai Imoudu Suru
of Utsogun Quarters of Auchi Sacred Kingdom has stated his readiness to
disburse 5million Naira to Nigerians to help with some essential items.
The
son of late Hon. Suru Abas took to his facebook account to state his intention
on Thursday and promised that by 4pm on Friday, he will be LIVE on facebook to
follow through with his promise to credit people’s accounts with not less than
10k to help cushion the effect of covid-19 pandemic on the indigent.
“stay tuned and keep your account details
active.
Tomorrow I will be giving out
5Million Naira for stay at home Bank credit in my live video.
10k credit each.
thanks” he posted.
Efforts to reach and have a conversation with Suru had not yield positive result as at the time of this report.
however, the Sacred Kingdom of Auchi is in full compliance with the directive of government ordering its citizens to stay at home in view of reducing the spread of covid-19.
the Auchi Vigilante Squad went round the cosmopolitan town to announce that people should stay at home as from on Friday noting that there shall be no Jumah (Friday) service as Religious Centers, Schools together with all pubs have been shutdown.
Providers of essential services will however be allowed to open for service as people may need to buy food, medications as well as petrol for use.
