In view of Federal Government’s directive to shutdown academic activities across the country, the management of Auchi Polytechnic is set to end its ongoing 1st semester examination on Tuesday the 24th of March against its earlier arrangement to finish up by Friday the 27th.

Addressing the public, Mr. G.C. Nwoko the institution’s examination officer made this known on Thursday when he revealed management’s intention to hasten up with concluding the remaining papers in view of vacating campus as ordered by FG.

Due to the latest directive from government, exams must now end on 24th March. All should be prepared for the extra task ahead as the exam committee would meet early tomorrow to quickly review the timetable to end on 24th March.” he said.

The SUG president, Comrade Ilukhor Charles also known as Tribunal has sent a broadcast message to students at all levels, intimating them with the situation and has encouraged all to cooperate with management in the course of the remaining papers.

The BC reads, “It has come to the notice of Management and the SUG of Auchi Polytechnic that the Ministry of Education is planning to close down schools nationwide by next week.
In view of the above, the SUG is working with Management to see how the morning students can round off their examination before the closure takes effect.
As a result of this, Management will rearrange the examination timetable to enable us finish our examination on or before Tuesday 24/03/2020.
Please let’s cooperate with management for the general good of all.
Thank you for your understanding while wishing you best in your remaining papers.

We are however, using this medium to advice students to remain calm and cooperate with management to achieve its aim of completing the exams in time before the final shutdown.
Stay safe and practice good hygiene.
