Nigerians React to Threat on Oshiomhole's Life by Philip Shaibu

Nigerians have been reacting to the statement credited to Philip Shaibu that they are waiting for Oshiomhole to attend any political rally in Edo State henceforth. Many of those who reacted said it is a pronouncement taking too far. They adviced Philip to retrace his steps as such threat may consume him.
First of those to react are some of the members and close friends of Oshiomhole in the Nigeria Labour Congress. In their personal opinion, they claim such statement from Philip Shaibu should not be taken for granted and that they will be meeting with their leaders in NLC to consider the stand NLC will take to protect Oshiomhole who has not only led them but left behind a record of excellence during his leadership as NLC President.
Members of Oshiomhole Community are also of the view that, they will not give out their son for any reason to political desperado. They claimed that any attempt on the life of their son will not be taken lightly and that they are already putting up a proactive measure to save their son from political blood tasting Aspirants like Philip Shaibu and Obaseki.
A former minister from Edo State who wouldn't want his name mentioned here also condemned Philip Shaibu statement saying he is surprised that Philip Shaibu who Oshiomhole brought from no where to be the Deputy Governor of Edo State could turn around and threaten Oshiomhole with death just for a rally to receive decampees into a party that him Oshiomhole is the National Chairman.
Many are saying Oshiomhole has done well for Edo State and that they see no reason why Philip Shaibu should be doing what he is doing against the State.
They have been telling people that they are popular among Edo people, if this is true why are they afraid, we need to see how many people are really identifying with them just like we are seeing in those rallies that they are going against today. Why issuing threat, why not organize your own rally to showcase your numerical strength.
Philip Shaibu should allow peace to reign in Edo State and not arm twist stories to suit his failure and selfishness
