Budget 2020 Accommodates Uzanu, Odoba, Okpekpe Roads _Agba
-Some of the border roads which criss-cross Etsako will likely wear a new look in the new year, if the 2020 budgetary provisions are followed without any alteration

Hon. Clem Agba made the disclosure during a grand reception organized by the Uneme general body and Friends in honour of their two distinguished sons: Hon Clement Agba the minister of state for budget and national planning and Hon Peter Akpatason, deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives.
In his remarks after the presentation of an award of excellence by his kinsmen, Hon Agba told his bewildered audience that one of the items in the recently signed budget by Mr President contains the provision for the construction of Uzanu- Odoba- Okpekpe road, which are all border towns in Etsako East LGA. He further assured that during the second phase, the road will be extended to okpella .
Agba added that there are other benefits contained in the budget which will specifically accrue to Edo state, stressing that the present administration is determined to touch all lives
He was particularly confident that the road project when completed will boost trade and commerce in Uzanu axis as well as reduce journey time and the stress associated with commuting between Auchi-Agenebode road.
Earlier in his address, the President of Uneme National Development Association, Mr Bayo Akhigbe, said the grand reception was put together to appreciate God and all those who contributed to the appointments of the duo. He reminded the honorees of the huge expectations that rests on their shoulders and urged them not to fail in bringing honour to the Nation, Community and their family.
The event was attended by traditional rulers notable Alhaji GYM Ugbodaga , the Oliola of Anegbette, the political class led by senator Francis Alimikhena and so on.
